Yes and No. It depends the way we spend that money, for example if I spend my money in charity, it makes me happier than spend the same money buying things for me. The video also refers another way the money buy the happiness, it is spending money in activities or traveling instead of buying materials things. because the experience is saved in our minds!.
ReplyDeleteNo. Happiness is next to people, family and friends. Money gives happiness for a very short time. Do not buy friends, love or reason to be happy. Money makes people feel happy to buy things they like but that doesn´t last forever. People who haven´t money are bad because they haven´t what they want, but still have a family that gives them more than material things.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the person, for some, money buys their happiness, for some others, money is just another paper (in case of bills). Can't be deny industries, nowadays, want to make us money dependent just to get what we want, ensuring us that's the way to feel happy or realized; also is known a person with a bad salary, a lot of bills to pay and with necessities isn't happy, but anyway, I think the best things on life are free and when you realize about it the money just become another object in life.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, we should know what happiness is, then we can ask to ourselves: is there anything or anyone that provide us of happiness?. As soon as we found the answer, we can try to buy it. If at the end of the day we couldn't get what we were looking for, then our happiness can't be purchased. But it doesn't mean that another person couldn't do it. If this person exists, don't be sad, it's just other type of happiness that is on sale.
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe money can buy happiness. The video says that "you can buy happiness, if you spent in the right way", for me best way to buy happiness is the charity. Why? Because you are helping people that don't have their needs, so you will see and feel the emotions when you help them. Also, the video says that when you travel to know other countries, this experiences are in our minds, so It could be a way to buy the happiness. The worst way to try it, is when you buy expensive and luxury things that don't matter in this life. Money isn't everything in the life.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the video because I think that money can’t buy happiness. Many people think that if they were millionaire , they will be happier; due to they could buy a lot of things, travels, beauty and many other things that now they can’t buy. I hear many cases in which people that don’t have money and won the lottery change their life but in a bad way because they forget the important things of the life like family, religion, peace and health. We should be happy and enjoy the life instead of be always thinking that money is all.

ReplyDeleteI think that the money can´t buy the happiness. Also I think that there are some actions that you can do it without money, for example: share with important people for us or do some activities that contribute with all the things around of us (environment, people). The video shows that when we spend our money in other we are happier, so I think that any thing that I do for other with money or without money, make me happier; because finally our intention is the important and that makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteNo , Of course not , because a lot of things you need doesn´t need money , for example : love , life , feelings or our family ; In point of fact , now days the people think that they can buy all this things but really people didn't notice the unique thing important is the life.
ReplyDeleteFor me, the happiness doesn't depend on the money, but can help you to find it. Because if you spend your money in something that brings you happiness, may be, you will be happy, also the money can't buy all things that bring us happiness.
ReplyDeleteUse the money to help other people or to make them happy is an example of a right way to spend if you want to be happy, because these things make you feel better. But if you just buy things for you and don’t think in anyone else, you probably will be sad. So, money doesnt’ buy happiness, but it can be a tool to get it if you use appropriately.
ReplyDeleteYes, but not completely, how the video says: money can buy happiness if spend in the right way. And more important, is than money can´t buy all the happiness, because for be happy you need more things like health, love, time and energy, I think that happiness depends on many factors.
ReplyDeleteI think that no, the money can never buy the happiness. Is a fact that the money helps us to live better, and it can resolve some problems that we have in some difficult situations in our lives, but we can´t buy with money the love of our family and friends, and it is the reason that I think that is better have friends than have money. Maybe, the best or only way to buy or to give a little happiness with money is to help needy people.
ReplyDeleteObviously money is important in the people’s life because you need to buy things for survive in this consumerist world. However you can’t buy the feeling of happiness. In my personal opinion it’s better to have a simple life around people who I love and be happy, than having a materialist life around people I hate and be unhappy.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, money can't buy the happiness because, the money can be feel happy sometimes when we buy a new clothes, a new cellphone, but with the time if we have this things, but we don't have friends or family with talk and laught, the life is empty and the money can't do nothing for us.
ReplyDeleteFor me money is a medium to live and not necessarily means happiness. In some cases is truth that money makes us happy but in others not. Each one have the way of be happy, the important is feel good with itself. According to video, a way to feel good is contribute with society and is interesting because exist a relation between happiness and money but in a different way.
ReplyDeleteI agree with almost everything exposed in the video, but still I think the happiness is something relative. Many things can make you happy, but be irrelevant to someone else. that depends on you.
ReplyDeletecan you see it in any family where some sibling can be happy with little simple things without monetary value, and in the other hand another sibling whose joys are the expensive things and ostentatious.
