In Costa Rica you must train people on the green areas of the country. Educating in homes and schools about marine endangered species and the importance of protecting marine and green areas.
ReplyDeletePeople should have the tools necessary to protect areas. Also apply technology for greater communication with the authorities.
First of all is important to change our minds and realizing how big the problem has become over the years. Culture and education must be enhanced about this topics to be forming minds conscious of what is happening. We've let that issues to the government but it just simply hasn't worked in the correct way. Maybe we are not in position to donate a million of dollars but we can join these organizations as a volunteer and help a lot.
ReplyDeleteIs really important to make a sacrifice and to teach the minor generations, no only in words but in actions, the importance of what we've got and what we're destroying.
The country has to do many things, initially the government should have more control in protected areas, because with that our country could keep on with a good reputation and many tourist will come to Costa Rica. Another important thing is that people should be more conscious about protect the environment due to the future generations will need it a lot.
ReplyDeleteWe need a real interest of all the country, that's include politicians, they are in charge to punish the people who violate the law, but is not only responsibility of the government is also responsibility of communities, and tourists to preserve our natural resources
ReplyDeleteWe need to create conscience in all the population, is not something only for the politicians, is something of all. Also we have to fight the illegal hunting and fishing and other bad activities for our environments, and to create and maintenance more and better ecological reserves
ReplyDeleteIn our country is necessary that everybody make many changes if we want to have a good future. First of all, the people in Costa Rica need to be educated since are children, so, they will grow up with this culture, and they are going to worry about the importance that is to help and conserve the natural resources and the environment. Also with the protect areas, the government have to do a big effort to save them, and also the people have to make conscience about that. We can start step by and with little things that if everybody does it, can be a big change.
ReplyDeleteCosta Rica has a variety of plants, animals and many protected areas. But also have many people who win money with these resources. So the country should take most control about this. Maybe the government has plans to care the environment, but in this moment the plans are insufficient because the problems appear day by day.
ReplyDeleteThe increment in the security in the protected areas and the control of the animals and plants in our cities are necessary for care the environment. If people really care about this, they may educate their children, because they are the future of our country.
Is important that the people in Costa Rica think about "what are they doing to save the natural resources?". Also the government has to propose laws that can help with the improving of the environment and do that the people respect it. I think that is necessary to educate the new generations about how we can help with the improving of the nature, and what could happen, if they don´t do it.
ReplyDeleteI think the goverment have to spend more money to protect the enviroment and sea, because today the national parks have a few money to fight with this problem and we all the ticos we need to change our minds and protect the rivers and our parks because, only of this way we will have a better place in our countries.
ReplyDeleteI thnk that the goverment need to interest more in the environment and create more intitutions with trained people, incorporate in the education system some program and work with the children, because if you create culture and create environmental thinking from small, they care the enviroment in the future.

Because they don't do anything if we don't fight for it. The police has to control in a better way the areas within the 10 miles on cocos island. This is all about the future of ourselves not only our children
ReplyDeleteFirst, we need to change our mind, the thought about the flora and fauna in our country. Also the goverment has to make advertisement about the awesome kind of marine animals that are living under the water of our country seas. We have to know that Costa Rica is particulary recognized for the biodiversity. The goverment has to make some changes in the laws and also has more control with coastguards to safe these protected areas. We appreciate when other countries and foundations make a contribution to projects in the protected parks at Costa Rica, to maintain our natural resources safeguarded.
ReplyDeleteIn our country we have many species and beautiful places that are important for environment, tourism and source of subsistence for many families and communities but we need to be aware is not easy for a fisherman take home the daily sustenance during the closed season, without doing mention that they aren't represent a risk.
ReplyDeleteThe traditional fisherman is not the problem, the biggest problem are the great companies that do indiscriminately explode the sea resources to satisfy a big black market.
The best way to control this problem is to control the market, with education, information and more severe laws and punishment.
As a companions comment, is necessary the education about environment to create conscience and respect about our natural resources.

Each of us must protect our nature and environment in general, to begin the change.
More protection to watersheds. We need to destroy government corruption. Incentives for environmental protection from schools create and support more environmental institutions. The main thing is that each person thinks we have only one planet to live, and if we destroy it, we will die.
